In FY26, DOES has standardized a core set of IT hardware offerings. DOES' Office of Information Technology (OIT) has selected these items as core offerings to establish consistency across the agency, making it easier to support all DOES staff and simplifying the process of troubleshooting IT issues. OIT recognizes that in some cases DOES programs will have requests to purchase IT hardware other than the items included in the core offerings. In those cases, the CIO will conduct a review and further discussion with the program may be required.

Previously, DOES used a Blank Purchase Agreement (BPA) to facilitate the purchase of certain forms of IT hardware. Beginning in FY26, DOES is instead using the core offerings list as the basis for the Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) to solicit quotes from vendors off the DC Supply Schedule. OIT is still responsible for submitting all IT requisitions in PASS and for coordinating all IT Purchase Card requests.
